These NFL Predictions Will Come True This Year

Football is right around the corner and we here at The Sports Script couldn’t be more excited. I am looking forward to another jam back season with lots of good games and tons of great story lines. Today I dig into each division and give you some predictions that I think will happen throughout the course of the season.

NFC West

Each Team will finish with 7 wins or better.
Carson Palmer will throw for 4500 yards and 30 TDs
Kaepernick will take a step back and struggle, but I don’t think it will affect the team enough to miss the playoffs.
The Rams will sweep the division. (They finished 4-1-1 last year)
Golden Tate records over 1000 yards recieving.

AFC West

The Broncos D will finish outside the top 10.
Peyton Manning will throw for over 5000 yards and 40+ TDs.
The Chiefs will win 10 games and make the playoffs.
Phillip Rivers will be benched after a week 10 4 INT performance.
Darren McFadden will stay healthy for all 16 games.

AFC North

Pittsburgh Steelers win the division.
Le’Veon Bell rushes for 600+ yards and 6 TDs in just under 10 games.
The Bengals will miss the playoffs because of a week 17 loss to the Ravens.
Brandon Weeden will not last at starting QB.
Ray Rice will lead the league in All Purpose Yards.
Joe Flacco will lead the Ravens Offense to an average of 30+ PPG.

NFC North

Vikings will go from 10 to 4 wins this year.
Adrian Peterson will get traded to the Patriots (Wishful thinking)
Green Bay will have the best record in football including a 20 point blowout of the 49ers in week 1.
Aaron Rodgers will be the NFL MVP.
Chicago will win 10 games again this year and will miss the playoffs again.
Jay Cutler will get paid.
Reggie Bush will have 90 receptions.

AFC South

The Colts will miss the playoffs due to a tie breaking loss to the Chiefs in week 16.
Houston Texans win the division but get eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs, they then Fire Gary Kubiak.
Matt Schuab has his best season to date.
Andrew Luck finishes in the top 5 of MVP voting.
The Jaguars play like well the Jaguars.
Maurice Jones-Drew rushes for 1300+ yards

NFC South

Matt Ryan finishes in the top 5 in the MVP race.
Julio Jones catches 10+ TDs.
New Orleans Saints will score more than 40 points 4 times.
Ron Rivera will be fired.
Matt Ryan and Drew Brees toss 5 TDs a piece in an epic 45-42 OT game in week 12.
Darrell Revis will win Comeback Player of the Year after intercepting 10 passes.

AFC East

Rex Ryan will be fired after New Orleans beats them 35-3 in week 9.
Mark Sanchez will throw 2 INT’s in one play in his attempt to get the Butt Fumble of the Worst of the Worst.
The Bills will win more games than the Dolphins.
E.J Manuel will win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Tom Brady will finish 2nd behind Aaron Rodgers in MVP voting.
Stevan Ridley finishes with 15 rushing TDs.
Fred Jackson scores more touchdowns than C.J. Spiller.

NFC East

Dallas will win 6 in a row to end the season but miss the playoffs by one game.
Tony Romo will throw twice as many TDs as he does INTs.
Washington will struggle and start the season 0-3.
RGIII is the real deal.
Vick will show signs of the old Vick and start all 16 games.
LeSean McCoy will put up MVP like numbers.
Jason Garrett will get fired.
Eli Manning will lead the Giants to a NFC East title.
Rueben Randle will lead the Giants in TDs.

I went to Twitter and asked for some of their bold predictions and these were the best responses.

@Cui2iousGeoi2ge (Ian Meredith) says the Kenbrell Thompkins will have over 1200 yards and 10 TDs.
@MattBell211 (Matt Bell) says that Kendall Wright will catch 90 passes.
@CwickB (Chad Woodroof) says that Ryan Matthews has a career year rushing for over 1200 yards and 8 TDs
@Abstract_cool – says that the St. Louis Rams will win the NFC West
