The Sports Script NBA Daily Plays for 2/12

Well, sadly I come before you to say goodbye for the short-term as this is our last big slate of games before the all-star break. I guess we can look at the positive as we are going out with a nice 13 game slate. These are the guys I’ll be looking at in most of my rosters come Wednesday.

THE STUDS (There are several “STUDS” in action on Wednesday, but I’m just listing the 3 I like the most)

Kevin Love is matched up with Denver on Wednesday and they just happen to be ranked 29th against the PF. David West put up 17 points in one-quarter on them Monday night, so no telling what Love might do!

Anthony Davis against a Bucks front court that will be without Henson and Sanders! They are already terrible with them in the game and now without Unibrow will have a huge game.

LaMarcus Aldridge goes up against the Clippers who are 6th against the PF over the last 10. The last time these two teams met Aldridge put up 49 fantasy points.

NOW ONTO THE REST OF THE PLAYS

Gordon Hayward gets the match up with the 76ers on Wednesday that the daily fantasy world loves to target. I must say I am doing initial research before he takes the floor against the Lakers and depending on how that goes it may play into my decisions to roster him for Wednesday. Hayward is averaging 18 points per game this year at home and should have no problem hitting that mark against a 76ers team that has given up 113 points per game over the last 10.

Brandon Jennings will be guarded by Kyrie Irving on Wednesday and should have no problem finding ways to score. Jennings has been pretty consistent as well putting up at least 35 fantasy points in 9 of the last 10 games.

Randy Foye disappointed several owners on Monday, but we must realize he was taking on the Pacers. Foye has had a day of rest now and gets a match up with Minnesota. The Timberwolves do not defend the opposing back court well and Foye should see close to 40 minutes in this game with Ty Lawson out.

Andre Drummond has been posting solid games for the last month and a half, posting almost a double double in every game. Cleveland already is weak in the front court and with out Varejao who missed Tuesday and could possibly sit again they could be very weak. I think Drummond  makes for a nice cash game play at this point.

Brandon Knight will have to play 40 minutes in this game as they have no one else to play. The Pelicans have been middle of the pack in defending the PG position and Knight has been taking advantage of his role with the Bucks. He’s posted 5 straight games of 30 plus fantasy points.

AND THE VALUE GUYS TO FIT THE STUDS

Zaza Pachulia will get all the minutes he can handle as most of the Bucks front court is already ruled out. The most big man they go into this game with is 3 and it’s a high possibility they only have 2. Zaza is so cheap that even against Unibrow with all the minutes he will see he will hit value for you.

Gerald Wallace should draw another start for Avery Bradley as he will miss Wednesday’s game. Wallace just seems to produce when given minutes the last two starts he’s had he’s went for 23 and 40 fantasy points.

Kyle Singler has been playing over 30 minutes per game for quite some time now. He’s been all over the board with his fantasy points, but at his price on most sites if you can get 20 fantasy points you will hit value with him.
