Monday usually brings us a full slate of game, but not this one as there are only 6 games for this Monday. The all-star break is coming up this weekend, so we have to get our fix for daily fantasy before we see a full 5 days off with only 2 games Thursday. Let’s take a look at the guys that are available for Monday’s action!
THE STUDS
Steph Curry is playing the 76ers and that is all I’m going to say!
Kevin Love is banged up, so I’m not sure he’s the best play right now. That being said Houston doesn’t defend the best on the inside against the PF position and he could be a good play if we get word he’s healthy and ready to go.
Anthony Davis has been in this spot for a while now and he’s posted 40 or more fantasy points in 4 straight games!
NOW ONTO THE REST OF THE PLAYS
James Harden just hasn’t been posting the high scoring games that he can, so I’ll place him here. He is consistent in putting up over 30 fantasy points per game and draws a Minnesota team that is ranked last in defending the SG over the last 10 games. He should be a lock to hit value in this game, but it would be nice for him to post one of his higher games of the year.
Randy Foye has a terrible match up as he’s up against Indiana, but he may play 40 plus minutes if Ty Lawson is out. He’s not priced cheap, but he’s cheap enough I’ll take my chances for him to hit value on most sites. Foye has been pretty consistent posting over 30 fantasy points in 5 of the last 6 games.
Lance Stephenson came back and played a full game with no restrictions on Sunday, so he’s a guy I’ll be targeting on Monday. Denver is giving up 107 points per game and ranked 26th against SG over the last 10 games. This type of game is the type where we could see Lance put up another triple double.
Klay Thompson is also going to benefit from matchup with the 76ers just as Steph Curry will. I’m not worried about the both hitting value as there should be plenty of shots to go around. Klay is priced down right now, but this is his type of game and he’s at home where he’s shooting 47% from the field this year.
David West is up against Denver and PF’s have just destroyed them over the last 10 games. West had posted back to back 40 plus fantasy points games before Sunday. West is at home where he’s been much better this year as he’s shot 52% at home as opposed to 45% on the road this year. West could easily post a double double in this game.
AND THE VALUE GUYS TO FIT THE STUDS
Khris Middleton has prices all over the board just depending on the site you are playing on. He’s a lock to get over 30 minutes of action right now and has posted over 30 fantasy points in 3 straight games.
Patty Mills has played over 20 minutes in 5 straight games and put up over 50 fantasy points in the game out. He’s not going to post 50 more than likely but he should be able to hit value on most sites with a match up against the Pistons.
