The Sports Script NBA Daily Plays for 2/9

We’ve got a rare edition of the The Sports Script NBA plays for a Sunday slate of action. There are 8 games on the slate today with 2 starting early, but we will just wipe those 2 out of our plays today.

THE STUDS

John Wall is on a roll right now 5 straight games over 40 fantasy points and 3 of those 5 over 50 fantasy points.

Demarcus Cousins is a beast on the inside and he will continue to post 40 plus fantasy points in this match up with Washington on Sunday.

Blake Griffin is over 50 fantasy points in 3 straight games and now he gets a match up with the 76ers!

Anthony Davis is getting 40 minutes of action per game and posting over 40 fantasy points per game in each of the last 6 games.

NOW ONTO THE REST OF THE PLAYS

Paul George burnt just about everyone on Friday as we all expected him to have a big game with Stephenson out. He shot 5 of 23 from the field and was still able to post 34 fantasy points in the game. He’s probably not going to shoot that poorly against and Orlando is ranked dead last against the opposing SF in the last 10 games. I look for him to bounce back in a huge way!

Jared Sullinger has posted two straight games over 50 fantasy points and could do the same thing again on Sunday. Sully has 4 straight games posting a double double and with Dallas not really having anyone to body up on him he should be able to post another one in this contest. Dallas is currently 28th against the PF position over the last 10 games.

Zach Randolph is averaging a double double on the year and has posted over 30 fantasy points in 9 of the last 10 games. He’s one of the most consistent fantasy players in the game right now. He’s on the road against a weak Cavs front court on Sunday, which should be a problem for Zbo as he’s actually been a little better statistics wise on the road this year.

Jamal Crawford should have plenty of minutes to play on Sunday as JJ Reddick is officially listed as questionable. Philly gives up a ton of points while not playing much defense and that should play right into the hands of Crawford. Crawford has one game in the last 10 where he didn’t post at least 27 fantasy points in that game.

Dirk Nowitzki will probably see a ton of shots if Monta Ellis doesn’t play. Ellis has  a mild strain in his right hamstring and that is no injury that the Mavericks will want to mess with. Nowitzki is really going to be the only true shooter on the court for the Mav’s and should be an easy bet to hit value in this game.

AND THE VALUE GUYS TO FIT THE STUDS

Samuel Dalembert looks like a nice punt option at the center position for Sundays action. He’s played over 20 minutes in 3 straight games now and posted solid fantasy numbers. He will be matched up with a Boston team that’s ranked 29th against the center position and as long as he gets the minutes should post a solid 20 fantasy points for the price you will get him at.

James Johnson has finally solidified his role in the Memphis offense playing over 20 minutes per game in the last 4 games. He’s been over 20 fantasy points in 3 of the last 4 games with a solid 19 fantasy points in yesterdays game. The Grizzlies are thin right now with injures and Prince doesn’t play as many minutes on the 2nd game of a back to back.

Courtney Lee is also in play today! I sure don’t recommend playing all 3 Grizzlies players in one line up, but there is a good chance they all get there points. Cleveland is ranked in the bottom of defending the SG position and gives up 105 points per game opening the door for Lee to post solid numbers.
