They also have the 970% – This is where the winner takes all of the money. 10 teams battle it out and only 1 winner survives. They have $1 games as well as $10 games for this one. The best of the best play this one, think you have what it takes?

They also have the H2H – Challenge anyone or accept a challenge in a Head to Head battle and hope you come out on top! Even better come take on me in this playoff challenge here:

Lastly, They have the H2H RR – Where you play 9 H2H games and compete for the best record. This one is hard but one of the funniest daily fantasy games I have ever seen.

The Sports Script MLB Offseason Blog by @mattbell211

The MLB off-season is in full swing right now with teams preparing for spring training! I personally can’t wait till February 25th when players must report to spring training, but now is the time for teams to make moves to prepare for a World Series run. The goal of this blog is to simply break down each move that takes place either via trade or free agent signing with a short one to two sentence explanation of how it impacts the upcoming MLB season.

Note: I will only list a signing or trade after it’s been made official with MLB

Note 12/23: The blog has been updated if I’m missing something and you are reading please contact me at my twitter. I apologize for the delay in between updates this time.

Note 1/11: The blog is up to date, but not a log going on.

TRADES

11/21/13 – Detroit Tigers traded 1B Prince Fielder to Texas Rangers for 2B Ian Kinsler

This trade is basically about dumping some money off the books for the Tigers as they also send $30 million to the Rangers with Fielder. The Tigers lose some power in the line up but the money frees them up to sign guys like Max and Miggy in the future which to me is more important. Kinsler is no slouch either and will offer some power in the line up and can play a solid 2nd base. I’m very excited as a baseball fan to see what Fielder can do in Texas at Arlington Stadium which is a hitters park.

Trade Winner: Tigers

11/23/13 – St. Louis Cardinals traded 3B David Freese and RHP Fernando Salas to Los Angeles Angels for CF Peter Bourjos and RF Randal Grichuk.

David Freese was a hometown hero during the 2011 World Series for the Cardinals, but since then he’s done nothing to prove he’s more than an average 3b. He hit just .262 with 9 home runs last year and the Cardinals needed the outfield depth that Bourjos will provide them. The Cardinals now have a solid center fielder in Bourjos who can cover a ton of ground. The Angels hope that last year was just a down year and that they can get the 2011 world series version of David Freese.

Trade Winner: Cardinals

12/2/13 – Detroit Tigers traded RHP Doug Fister to Washington Nationals for LHP Ian Krol, 2B Steve Lombardozzi and LHP Robbie Ray.

I wish I knew what Detroit was thinking here, but I sure don’t! Doug Fister was a solid starter this year for the Tigers earning 14 wins on the years. He’s going to fill in nicely for a Nationals pitching staff that could use some help towards the 4 and 5 starters spots.

Trade Winner: Nationals

12/3/13 – Baltimore Orioles traded RHP Jim Johnson to Oakland Athletics for Player To Be Named Later and 2B Jemile Weeks.

The Orioles could use the second baseman that they got in Weeks, but the whole point of the trade was about saving money. The Orioles would have had to pay a huge amount of money in arbitration and they avoided that by trading him. The Oakland Athletics get a solid closer who had the most saves  over the last two seasons.

Trade Winner: Athletics

12/3/13 – Texas Rangers traded CF Craig Gentry and RHP Josh Lindblom to Oakland Athletics for RF Michael Choice and 2B Chris Bostick.

There is not a lot to say about this trade, but I do like what the Athletics did here. Gentry can be a solid outfielder in the major leagues I believe.

Trade Winner: Athletics

12/3/13 – Colorado Rockies traded Player To Be Named Later and CF Dexter Fowler to Houston Astros for CF Brandon Barnes and RHP Jordan Lyles.

Houston gets a good ball player in Fowler who I don’t think ever got the credit he deserved in Houston. The Rockies pick up a couple nice young ball players in Barnes and Lyles, but they sure are giving up a good one in Fowler.

Trade Winner: Astros

12/5/13 -Milwaukee Brewers traded RF Norichika Aoki to Kansas City Royals for LHP Will Smith.

This is kind of under the radar trade that most people wont care about, but it could be a nice get for the Royals. Aoki is a very solid outfielder hitting .286 with 20 stolen bases last year.

Trade Winner: Royals

12/10/13 – Arizona Diamondbacks traded LF Adam Eaton to Chicago White Sox for LHP Hector Santiago and Player To Be Named Later.Los Angeles Angels traded RF Mark Trumbo and Player To Be Named Later to Arizona Diamondbacks for LHP Hector Santiago and LHP Tyler Skaggs.

(Trumbo goes to Diamondbacks, Santiago and Skaggs to the Angels, and Eaton to the White Sox)

The Diamondbacks get a power bat they’ve been looking for. I know Trumbo has a terrible on base percentage, but he does hit 30 to 40 home runs a year. The Diamondbacks are going to have Goldy and Trumbo hitting back to back which will produce a lot of home runs in that park. The Angels get a couple of young arms to try build a solid pitching staff around. I like what each team did in this trade, but my clear-cut winner is the Diamondbacks.

Trade Winner: Diamondbacks

12/10/13 – Oakland Athletics traded LHP Brett Anderson and cash to Colorado Rockies for LHP Drew Pomeranz and RHPChris Jensen.

Brett Anderson has been a disappointing player because of injuries over his career, but he’s got a ton of upside. The Rockies are hoping he can be the front end starter they need in the rotation and stay healthy. The Athletics clear a spot in their rotation they need after signing Kazmir and acquire some young talent that hopefully help the club in the future.

Trade Winner: Athletics

12/13/13 – Seattle Mariners traded RHP Carter Capps to Miami Marlins for 1B Logan Morrison.

Logan Morrison is the name to know here as he can hit the ball really well at times but is a very streaky hitter. Morrison has some power, but he’s not going to do much other than hold down a outfield spot for the Mariners. The Marlins grab Capps in an effort to boost their rotation with young pitching.

Trade Winner: Mariners

12/16/13 – Chicago White Sox traded RHP Addison Reed to Arizona Diamondbacks  for 3B Matt Davidson

The average fan of baseball probably hasn’t heard much about either of these guys, but they are both solid baseball players. I really like the potential in both guys, but I think the White Sox get a future star in Davidson.

Trade Winner: White Sox

FREE AGENT SIGNINGS

11/12/13 – Philadelphia Phillies signed free agent RF Marlon Byrd.

Byrd adds some power to a Phillies team that could for sure use some help in the lineup. I like the signing for the Phillies, but he’s got to hit like last year for it to be a successful one.

11/13/13 – Oakland Athletics signed free agent SS Nick Punto.

Punto is very solid defensively and adds a nice glove to the infield to help the Athletics out.

11/21/13 – Kansas City Royals signed free agent LHP Jason Vargas.

Vargas just adds to the Royals rotation a veteran pitcher, that really doesn’t help or hurt them.

11/22/13 – Colorado Rockies signed free agent RHP LaTroy Hawkins.

This has home runs written all over it. Hawkins will struggle in Colorado with the  long balls.

11/24/13 – St. Louis Cardinals sign Jhonny Peralta

I’ll be called a homer here, but I don’t care! I love the signing of Peralta as it gives the Cardinals a power bat from the shortstop position that they have not had in years.

11/25/13 – Cleveland Indians signed free agent OF David Murphy.

Murphy is coming off a down year where only hit for an average of .220 obviously the Indians are hoping they get much better production.

11/26/13 – Cincinnati Reds signed free agent 2B Skip Schumaker

Skip is simply a utility baseball player that will fill in for the Reds at multiple positions through out the year. He’s a decent hitter as well hitting .285 for his career.

11/29/13 – San Fransico Giants agreed to terms with P Ryan Vogelsong

Vogelsong is coming off a year where he had a 5.73 ERA on the year. There is not much to say about a guy coming off that kind of season, but I believe the Giants think he can turn it around and become a solid starting pitcher.

12/3/13 – New York Yankees signed free agent C Brian McCann.

This is a very nice additions for the Yankees, while I still think they over paid for McCann they get a nice left-handed bat. The left-handed power hitting catcher will play nicely with the short porch in right field at Yankee Stadium.

12/3/13 – Minnesota Twins signed free agent RHP Ricky Nolasco.

Nolasco is an average pitcher, but he will help a Twins staff that was not very good last year. It’s a good fit for both the team and Nolasco.

12/5/13 – Minnesota Twins signed free agent RHP Phil Hughes.

The Twins are picking up pitchers to fill out the rotation and Hughes is another solid additions. He’s not an ace, but he should make for a decent starter for the Twins.

12/6/13 – Miami Marlins signed free agent C Jarrod Saltalamacchia.

Salty is a pretty good catcher and hitter as well. The Marlins need solid baseball players after a horrible year last year and Salty brings a World Series ring with him that could provide leadership to the young guys in Miami.

12/6/13 – Miami Marlins signed free agent SS Rafael Furcal.

Furcal didn’t play last year with injury, but when healthy he’s a pretty good shortstop. He’s not going to provide much pop to the Marlins line up, but he will hold down the SS position with some solid defense.

12/7/13 – New York Yankees signed free agent CF Jacoby Ellsbury.

To date this is the biggest signing to take place as Ellsbury leaves the world champion Red Sox to go to the hated Yankees. Ellsbury is a great ball player when healthy, but the key is when healthy he’s injury prone and the Yankees gave way to much for him to be hurt.

12/7/13 – Boston Red Sox signed free agent RHP Edward Mujica.

Mujica was great for the Cardinals last year to start the year, then it all feel apart for him. I’m not sure how the Red Sox will use him, but i’m sure he will come out of the bullpen as some sort of set up man.

12/7/13 – Los Angeles Dodgers signed free agent RHP Brian Wilson.

THE BEARD IS BACK! The question now is can the beard stay healthy?

12/9/13 – New York Mets signed free agent CF Curtis Granderson.

The Mets make a splash in free agency this year signing one of the best outfielders our there. Granderson spent some time on the DL last year only playing 61 games for the Yankees and hitting .229 with 7 home runs during that time. The Mets are going to need more out of Granderson than 61 games if they are going to compete.

12/10/13 – Texas Rangers signed free agent C J.P. Arencibia.

I like this signing for the Rangers as Arencibia will be able to back up Soto and can hit for power as well. He’s got the 4th most home runs among active catchers over the last 3 season and should be a decent addition for the Rangers next year.

12/10/13 – Miami Marlins signed free agent 1B Garrett Jones.

I’m a big fan of Garrett Jones and he’s always helped me at times in fantasy, but I’ve got to admit he never got it going last year. The Marlins aren’t a very good team thought, and I”m anxious to see what Jones can do given playing time daily. I’ll revisit this signing during the season and hope Jones is playing solid baseball.

12/11/13 – Detroit Tigers signed free agent LF Rajai Davis.

Rajai is almost an automatic stolen base when he gets on base that is! Davis will likely share time with Andy Dirks and be in the line up when the Tigers are facing a left-handed pitcher.

12/12/13 – Seattle Mariners signed free agent 2B Robinson Cano

Jay-Z done went and got Cano PAID! Cano gets a big deal as it’s not quite the 300 millions we all thought he wanted he still gets 10 years and around 240 million. Cano will struggle to hit home runs as the Safeco filed is not a hitters park. He’s still going to provide an all-star player in Seattle with plenty left in the bat. The Mariners have nothing to lose with this deal, but I still think by about year 6 of this 10 year deal they will regret it.

12/12/13 – Washington Nationals signed free agent LF Nate McLouth.

This signing provides the Nationals with a solid 4th outfielder. McLouth will give them depth at each spot in the outfield and will probably see more at bats than a typical 4th outfielder. The 32-year-old McLouth batted .258/.329/.399 with 12 homers and a career-best 30 stolen bases for the Orioles last season which for sure helps the Nationals.

12/13/13 – Seattle Mariners signed free agent 1B Corey Hart.

I actually like Hart as a solid underrated pick up for the Mariners. He spent much of last season on the DL with an injury but if he can return with a year like he had in 2012 he could be a very nice addition for the Mariners.

12/13/13 – Colorado Rockies signed free agent 1B Justin Morneau.

We know Morneau has some power, so going to Colorado we can expect a few more home runs. I think he’s a nice replacement at 1B for the Rockies and should provide some pop, but I don’t expect anything special.

12/13/13 – Pittsburgh Pirates signed free agent RHP Edinson Volquez.

Volquez is decent, but he’s also a very risky signing. The Pirates were able to turn some pitchers into studs this year thought, so who knows how to judge this signing.

12/14/13 – New York Mets signed free agent RHP Bartolo Colon.

Colon just got paid with this deal. The Mets fans have a had a rough couple of year, so I hope for their sake this works out, but I really think they overpaid for an old pitcher.

12/16/13 -St. Louis Cardinals signed free agent 2B Mark Ellis.

Ellis will play a utility role for the Cardinals this year and I have to say he’s a very solid utility guy. Ellis hit .270 last year for the Dodgers while playing in 126 games. The Cardinals just need him to give guys off throughout the year.

12/16/13 – Kansas City Royals signed free agent 2B Omar Infante.

The Royals probably overpaid for Infante, but to compete they have to overpay for guys. Infante hit .318 last year and will a key piece in the Royals 2014 season.

12/17/13 – San Francisco Giants signed free agent LF Michael Morse

Morse has to stay health for this signing to work out. Morse, if healthy will provide some power to a Giants line up that sure needed it.

12/27/13 – Texas Rangers signed free agent LF Shin-Soo Choo.

The Rangers are making an early push to become the winners of the offseason obviously. That line up in Texas is looking very dangerous and the decision to add Choo is going to add a nice pop. I think Choo can do big things next year in that line up and in the ball park.

Week 16 Fantasy Football Sleepers

Most of you reading this are in the playoffs and playing for the Title or in some cases the game before the title. First off, Good luck and we here at the Sports Script hope we have been helpful enough to get you playing where you are right now. We look forward to helping many others in the years to come.

This week there are some really good matchups across the board but with the uncertainty of some big name guys (Peterson, Fitzgerald and possibly the return of Aaron Rodgers). So I am here to give you my week 16 Fantasy Football Sleepers

Week 16 Fantasy Football Sleepers

Ben Roethlisberger vs. Green Bay Packers

The Steelers got up big early and really didn’t need Ben to do much this week. Prior to last week’s Big Ben had thrown for multiple touchdowns in 5 straight games. I look for him to his TD total this week against a Packers D that has given up 7 TDs over the last 3 games.

Alfred Morris vs. Dallas Cowboys

Morris is quietly the 5th leading rusher in football this season but has only found the endzone 6 times and once since week 9. He has a great matchup against a Cowboy run D that I think I could get 100 yards on (that’s saying a lot). Morris had 81 yards and a TD in the week 6 matchup against the Boys and this week he is a risky play as you don’t know how he will be used but I think he is certainly worth the look with the matchup he has.

Ben Tate vs. Houston Texans (Same could be said for Dennis Johnson if Tate doesn’t play)

Tate had a pretty good game on Sunday that got ruined by his two fumble. He went for 92 total yards but didn’t find the endzone for the 2nd straight week. He draws a Denver Broncos team that has given up an average of 122 yards and 1.5 touchdowns to opposing RBs over the last 4 games. Both of these guys are worth a look this week if you own them.

Emmanuel Sanders vs. Green Bay Packers

Sanders touchdown streak was halted at 3 games after not finding the endzone against the Bengals. This week we could see a shootout in Green Bay. Both defenses have been suspect against the pass and this could be the week Sanders scores his 6th TD of the year.

Brian Hartline vs. Buffalo Bills

Hartline has been on fire over the last 6 weeks. He has at least 5 catches and 50 yards in every game since week 9 and has scored 2 TDs in the last 3 games. In a PPR format he has been a stud. This week he faces Buffalo and he caught 6 balls for 69 yards in their week 7 matchup. If I it was me I would start Hartline this week but a strong sleeper play this week.

Tyler Eifert vs. Minnesota Vikings

Eifert succeeded in the 2nd half against the Steelers after Gresham went down. He found the endzone for the 1st time since week 7. If Gresham is down and you are missing a tight end due to the injury of Gronkowski, Eifert is the man to play. The Vikings have given up 3 TDs in the previous two games and haven’t been that good against TEs all season (averaging 9 PPG).

San Diego Chargers D vs. Oakland Raiders

The Chargers are coming off a high in beating the Broncos and holding them to a season low 17 points, which actually scares me a little in playing them because they could just let us down but I don’t see that happening this week. Chargers are a really good streaming option for Fantasy owners everywhere

WWE TLC Predictions

Alright folks, we’re back to bring you some WWE pay-per-view predictions, this time it will with Tables Ladders and Chairs! WWE has put together a very nice card, headlined by the enormous match between World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, and WWE Champion Randy Orton in a TLC match to unify the two championships. The undercard is looking pretty good with Damien Sandow and Big E Langston clashing for the Intercontinental Championship, and a fatal fourway for the Tag Team championships as well. But let’s take a look at the predictions, and our burning question!

Pre-Show: Dolph Ziggler vs Fandango

Matt Bell: It’s funny almost how far Dolph Ziggler’s act has fallen after being champion just a short time ago. Fandango burst onto the scene this year, but apparently that’s not working out either since he’s “pre-show”. I’ll take Dolph Ziggler in this one as I see no reason for WWE to have him lose to Fandango.

Ricky: Ziggler seems to be getting back on the right track and I like him to win this match.

Matty W: Both men have fallen from the graces of the WWE brass, but both are fantastic workers and will put on a very enjoyable pre-show match. Love both of these guys, but I’ll go with Ziggler just because faces almost always win pre-show matches.

Handicap Match: The Wyatt Family vs Daniel Bryan

Matt Bell: What is up with the handicap matches at this show? I really am not a fan of the 3 on 1 handicap matches as it makes 0 sense for 1 man to beat 3 huge animals in the Wyatt Family. Bryan probably puts up some sort of fight maybe he wins by DQ, but the Wyatt family has to win the make this look real in my opinion.

Ricky: Shenanigans is bound for both of the Handicap matches but I think somehow, some way Bryan comes out victorious in this match.

Matty W: Here we have the first of two 3-1 handicap matches, with Daniel Bryan taking on the entire, monstrous Wyatt Family. Obviously Bryan is meant to be the super underdog here, and I don’t think he’ll pull this one out. But that’s not why I’m interested in this match. Things are going down between Bryan and the Wyatts. This could go a number of ways, so see the next handicap match to see where I think they’re going.

Handicap Match: The Shield vs CM Punk

Matt Bell: If you look at everything I just said about the other handicap match well throw it out the window for this one. I think we are seeing the end of The Shield somewhat and some type of miscommunication will lead to a CM Punk win. They are going to build CM Punk back up as Wrestlemania is just around the corner .

Ricky: As I spoke earlier about Shenanigans having a huge part in both Handicap matchups. I am personally not a fan of the whole Handicap matchup for either but the angle they are running right now is a lot of fun. Punk and Bryan are two of my favorite wrestlers in the WWE. Give me the Shield but I think it could go either way for the match.

Matty W: The next handicap match sees the mighty Shield take on everyone’s favourite anti-superstar CM Punk. In this one I see CM Punk coming out with the win just because the Shield have begun to show cracks in their armour. Personally, I could see WWE doing a match at ‘Mania with the entire Shield going for the US Championship. As for Punk, I feel we’re heading towards a Bryan vs Punk showdown, and my guess is it will be at Royal Rumble.

Divas Championship: AJ Lee (c) vs Natalya

Matt Bell: AJ Lee has held the title for quite some time now, but WWE is all about Total Divas right now and with that being said I’m taking Natalya to win this match. The women’s title being focused on during Total Divas would sure help the show.

Ricky: AJ will you marry me? No. Bummer. I think Natalya ends the reign here and beats Natalya. (Hope AJ can forgive me for that)

Matty W: AJ is the only redeemable thing about the Divas division right now, besides Kaitlyn who’s to busy being buried at every turn (Who gets pinned off a dropkick?). Anyway, I see AJ retaining here because WWE has gotten into the bad habit of the champion losing all his/her non-championship matches, and winning all the championship matches. We’re all just sitting here, waiting for Paige to come up…

Intercontinental Championship: Big E Langston (c) vs Damien Sandow

Matt Bell: This is an interesting match and both men are receiving pushes from the company right now. My question I’ve pondered is that with the unification of the titles does the IC title become more relevant now? I think it does and to me with both guys getting a push it makes no sense for Big E Langston to lose this match. However, with Langston winning I don’t think this feud will end after this match and look for a rematch maybe even on Raw the next night.

Ricky: I’ve been watch Langston since he was in NXT. He has big star potential and has a big future in front of him. Sandow is a solid guy to have on the roster as well but Langston is getting the big push right now, I like him to retain.

Matty W: Probably my two biggest crushes right now as competitors, besides Roman Reigns, are Big E and my Intellectual Saviour. E is well on his way to the upper card of the show, so I don’t see him losing this quickly into his first reign. Should be a decent match, as both are very capable workers.

WWE Tag Team Championships: The Rhodes Brothers (c) vs The Real Americans vs RybAxel vs The Big Show & Rey Mysterio

Matt Bell: This match is just something they’ve thrown together to get the Tag Team belts on the card. I’ll take the Rhodes Brothers as they seem to be really working out well for WWE right now.

Ricky: Seems the more you hear the more talk about reviving the Tag Title division. I really can’t wait for this to happen so we don’t have more of these matches. None of these teams really make too much sense to win other than the Rhodes Brothers, so give me them.

Matty W: I love what WWE has done with its tag team division. With the Shield and Wyatts in other matches, they still managed to put two great teams, (The Rhodes Brothers and The Real Americans), a solid team, (RybAxel) and an interesting team that was just thrown together (I’ll call them ShowSterio). None of these teams have what it takes to believably take the titles from the Rhodes save for the Real Americans, but now isn’t their time, so give me The Rhodes Brothers to retain.

Championship Unification TLC Match: WWE Champion Randy Orton vs World Heavyweight Champion John Cena

Matt Bell: I’ll start off by saying whoever wins this match will walk into Wrestlemania the champion of the WWE. I love the fact that both belts are now going to be just 1 belt. I think WWE can keep a more interesting storyline going with Orton as champion and Cena trying to win the title. If they let Cena win it’s hard for me to imagine a scenario where the main event at Wrestlemania would be something we haven’t had before. I’ll take Orton in this match, but look for thie feud to continue through Royal Rumble.

Ricky: Not a fan of Orton at all and don’t think he should be in the Heavyweight title picture. But since we are here I have seen a lot about how they will both come down with the belt and blah blah but I think Cena wins (or something weird happens) and is the only logical choice here.

Matty W: I’ll be honest, I had no interest in this match until that final RAW segment, and now I actually care to see Cena vs Orton for 1000th time! This is going to be a big match, maybe not as big as WWE has been pushing it, but big nonetheless. Randy Orton has looked so inept these past few weeks that I think it has to be him, to throw us a swerve. I also wouldn’t put it past WWE to guarantee us new champions and then just have them grab each others titles, making Cena WWE champ, and Orton World champ. Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.

Burning Question: The end of RAW this week was phenomenal cluster of chaos, with CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Triple H AND Shawn Michaels all getting involved to go along with the two World Champions. Where is this going with the Road to Wrestlemania almost upon us?

Matt Bell: This is all just setting up some future fueds for Mania! CM PUNK will take on ORTON or will it be CM Punk and Daniel Bryan against DX? I’m not 100% sure where that is going, but I do have to say I loved the way Raw ended and it actually left me ready for Sundays PPV.

Ricky: I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Punk turning on Bryan thing setting up Wrestlemania but look for a Triple H vs. CM Punk potential Wrestlemania matchup. With the set up coming this past week on RAW between the two. I hope Michaels stays retired in all these scenarios but I like what they are doing now more than I did a few months ago. It should be an exciting build towards WM indeed.

Matty W: This is full of amazing scenarios. The one that will happen is Triple H vs CM Punk so Punk can get revenge from over two years ago. The other possibility that has a good chance in my books, is Bryan vs Michaels, which might be the best thing of all time. The final scenario I see as a very slight chance, is to have The Meta Powers (Bryan and Punk) take on D-Generation X (Triple H and Michaels) at Wrestlemania. This would be too amazing, so I don’t see it happening. But whatever happens, it’s going to be very good.

So there you guys have it, our final predictions for Sunday’s TLC! The Road to Wrestlemania is nearly upon us, and this will be a fantastic way to kick things off. Up next… The Royal Rumble!

Week 15 Fantasy Football Sleepers

As the case with myself as well, Fantasy owners every had to weather to storm this week and watch some of the top Fantasy Studs that weren’t able to produce due to terrible playing conditions. While others saw top stars like LeSean McCoy, Jamaal Charles and Peyton Manning thrive in the cold/snowy weather. Congratulations if you have made it to the next round of the playoffs and good luck to those who are starting this week. I am here to give you my Week 15 Fantasy Football Sleepers.

Don’t forget with the Fantasy Football Playoffs here check out my Sextastic 10, which is an in-depth look at 10 Fantasy QBs and their Fantasy Playoff Schedule. Check it out here: http://thesportsscript.com/2013/11/21/the-sextastic-10/

Week 15 Fantasy Football Sleepers

Ryan Tannehill vs. New England Patriots

Tannehill is coming off a HUGE game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in which he threw for 3 TD and added 56 yards on the ground. In his last matchup against the Patriots he tossed 2 1st half touchdowns but the Patriots came back on a tear and Tannehill had 3 second half turnovers. The Patriots are coming off a game in which they gave up 391 yards and 3 TDs to Jason Campbell. I like Tannehill and his matchup this week.

Pierre Thomas vs. St. Louis Rams

Thomas only has 14 rushing yards over the previous two games but also has only seen 11 carries due to the team being down a ton of points and getting ahead. Well the Rams are giving up over 20 points a game to opposing Fantasy RBs. Thomas has a ton of upside in this weeks matchup and it may be a risk playing him but one I think is worth it.

Alfred Morris vs. Atlanta Falcons

Morris has had  a frustrating season for owners who drafted him rather high. He only has 107 rushing yards in the last 3 games and outside the TD run against the Giants he has been irrelevant. The Falcons have given up the most rushing yards of anyone this season and that includes 302 yards and 3 TDs over the previous 2 games. We should see Morris make the most of his carries with this favorable matchup.

Cordalle Patterson vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Vikings have found ways to get Patterson the football over the past few weeks. He has 23 targets in the last 3 games including 3 rushing attempts as well. The Eagles have given up 20+ Fantasy points to WRs in 11 of 13 games (13 of 13 in PPR leagues). Patterson is a sneaky play this week that I really like.

Cecil Shorts vs. Buffalo Bills

After scoring for his 2nd straight game, Shorts has a great matchup for him this coming week against the Bills. They are giving up the 2nd most Fantasy points to opposing WRs this year and Shorts has a good shot at making it 3 straight games with a TD

Dennis Pitta vs. Detroit Lions

Pitta coming off his hip injury and all the questions around “limited” play he was going to have Sunday, he saw 11 targets catching 6 of them for 48 yards and a TD. While the Lions have been pretty good against opposing TEs (5 PPG) Pitta is one of Flaccos favorite weapons. You may be able to find him on many of waivers across leagues and I would land him if possible.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills

EJ Manuel is coming off another poor performance but this time throwing 4 INTs. The Jaguars are red hot right now winning 4 out of their last 5 games. The team is playing well and are worth a look if you are someone who streams D week to week.

The Sports Script NFL DuDs for Week 14

The fantasy playoffs started this week for most of us and it’s going to be a tough week for some owners. If you drafted Gronk and held onto him thinking he could help you in the playoffs… OUCH! That being said lets take a look at some players that didn’t get hurt, but sure hurt our fantasy chances as owners.

Washington Redskins 45-10 loss to Chiefs – If you own a player from this team, I’m sorry! They are a complete mess right now and have packed it in for the seasons. If you’re banking on them for fantasy productions I’d be very nervous going forward if there is any hope left for you.

Matthew Stafford & Calvin Johnson – The snow storm in Philadelphia absolutely killed owners of almost all Lions players! Reggie Bush was hurt before the game started and didn’t even play. The Stafford to Megatron connection was completely snowed in this week as they did little to nothing for fantasy owners. The only thing worse than owning these two guys in fantasy is probably being a Lions fan with the way they find ways to lose games.

EJ Manuel  18/33 184 yards 4 interceptions – GEEZ! EJ you must have been up to late celebrating the Noles going back to the National Title game. This was just an ugly game for the rookie QB. He’s not someone you really wanted to have in a fantasy lineup, but if you did you were just hoping for him to make a play and not turn the ball over. You got neither out of the young quarterback and probably killed any chances you had this week.

Torrey Smith 1 catch 11 yards – Torrey is slowly becoming one of those guys that can have a huge day for you or kill you! He killed you this week with a mega DuD! I know a lot of people in the daily leagues were all over Torrey Smith this week matched up against a terrible Vikings defense, well that didn’t work out. Torrey it’s the playoffs for us owners and you’re team needs you let’s do a little better next week!

Honorable Mention

Harry Douglas 2 catches 20 yards – It looks like Roddy White is fully healthy now and time to put the fade on Douglas.

Ben Tate 14 carries 53 yards 2 catches 3 yards – What happened to those 3 touchdowns?

CJ Spiller & Fred Jackson – Who cares about the stats they had? They sure didn’t help you!

Kendall Wright 2 catches 14 yards – I’m not even sure what to say here.

Mike Wallace  2 catches 19 yards – He was a major let down for owners this week and is real close to my permanent section.

Permanent DuDs

This section has been up for a couple of weeks now and if you’ve been reading you now know that these players listed here are ruining fantasy season weekly!

Trent Richardson

Ray Rice

Eli Manning (NEW ADDITION)

Jared Cook (NEW ADDITION)

The Sports Script Week 14 NFL Predictions

We here at the Sports Script are getting our writers together and give you our weekly Predictions for each game. We are going to keep track throughout the season to see how well our team does. Each week we have a guest that jumps on board with us and picks the weeks games as well, this week we have Cyrus Geller from Musket Fire, a New England Patriots devoted site from the Fansided Network.

Last week saw both Matty W and Mandi have the best record, at 11-5, and our guest Trent, went 5-11. The Great Matt Bell still has a strangle hold over the rest of our Sports Script writers, at 125-66-1, but Matty W is just four games back at 121-70-1.

With that being said, let’s look at the picks for this week:

Week 14 Fantasy Football Must Start/Must Sit

The Fantasy Playoffs are here for most of you and playing the right matchup can either win or lose you a game. Last week was a big week for WRs and I think we could find that in week 14 it will be the same. With Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall and Calvin Johnson with great matchups this week, we are bound to see a repeat of last weeks WR party.

Don’t forget with the Fantasy Football Playoffs here check out my Sextastic 10, which is an in-depth look at 10 Fantasy QBs and their Fantasy Playoff Schedule. Check it out here: http://thesportsscript.com/2013/11/21/the-sextastic-10/

Week 14 Fantasy Football Must Start

Andy Dalton vs. Indianapolis Colts

While Dalton disappointed last week with a good matchup against the Chargers, I don’t think this will happen again this week. The Colys haven’t been good against the pass in the 2nd half of the season. Dalton is a top play this week.

Demarco Murray vs. St. Louis Rams

Murray had 3 rushing TDs last week against a Raiders run D that had only given up 2 in their previous 5. Rams give up almost 20 PPG to opposing Fantasy RBs, Murray is an easy must start this week.

Steven Jackson vs. Green Bay Packers

Jackson has hit his stride at the right time for Fantasy owners (163 total yards and 3 TDs in last two games). He is facing a Packers Run D that has given up 440 yards and 3 TDs in the past to games to RBs. Start him if you got him as a RB1 this week.

Riley Cooper vs. Detroit Lions

The Lions prior to last week gave up 2 or more TDs to WRs in 5 straight games (Lucky for them they faced Matt Flynn). Riley is coming off back to back games under 50 yards but look for him to break it open against a terrible Lions secondary.

Victor Cruz vs. San Diego Chargers

It’s been 8 weeks since we last saw the Salsa Dance brought out by Mr. Cruz. I’ve looked into my crystal ball and I see not one but 2 Salsa dances against a team that has given up 392 yards and 3 TDs to opposing WRs over the last two weeks. Get this man in the lineup this week and dance along with him.

Garrett Graham vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

6 catches for 69 yards in his 1st matchup against them. Graham has been hit and miss since Daniels (who is coming back soon) went down with injury. I like this matchup this week and consider this a top 10 matchup.

Arizona Cardinals Defense vs. St. Louis Rams

Cardinals D is the real D and the Rams aren’t that great. Cardinals are a Top 5 option for this week.

Week 14 Fantasy football Must Sit

Robert Griffin III vs. Kansas City Chiefs

I know the Chiefs have been struggling but they need a team to beat on after losing 3 straight games. The dysfunctional Redskins are the perfect team for that. I don’t like him this week at all, find a better option.

Ryan Mathews vs. New York Giants

Mathews found the endzone through the air on Sunday against the Texans but couldn’t muster anything else up. The Giants rank well against the RB this year and I just don’t trust my Fantasy playoff matchup with Mathews in my lineup.

Pierre Thomas/Mark Ingram vs. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have given up 1 rushing TD since week 5 and the Saints only had 45 yards rushing against the Seahawks last weeks. Not a good matchup for either of these guys.

Jordy Nelson vs. Atlanta Falcons (If Rodgers plays Jordy is a must start)

With Rodgers in question and Jordy’s season going down the drain due to the QB carousel in Green Bay since Rodgers went down. Jordy isn’t trustworthy this Fantasy playoff season. If Rodgers plays you have to play him, otherwise he needs to be on the bench.

Jordan Reed vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs have given up only 2 TDs to TEs all season and they have only given up over 50 yards twice. With Reed coming off the injury, I would hold out another week before starting him.

Emmanuel Sanders vs. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have given up 1 TD all season to opposing WRs. Even though Sanders has 3 TDs in his last two games he isn’t worth the start this week in a tough matchup.

Seattle Seahawks Defense vs. San Fransisco 49ers

Seahawks D has risen to the occasion pretty much all season but the 49ers have payback on their mind and they have played some great football. I like the 49ers this week and think they do some big things to the Seahawks this weekend.
